Prof. Federico Rosei, elected Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)

The European Academy of Sciences (EurASc) is proud to announce that Prof. Federico Rosei, Head of the Materials Science Division and Fellow of EurASc, has been elected Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) for the advancement of science in developing countries. His election becomes effective on 1 January 2026.

This prestigious recognition by TWAS — a global institution promoting scientific excellence and sustainable development through international collaboration — highlights Prof. Rosei’s outstanding contributions to materials science, his leadership in advancing innovation, and his long-standing commitment to supporting scientific growth worldwide.

In a congratulatory message, TWAS stated that Prof. Rosei’s election “is a clear recognition of his outstanding contribution to science and its promotion in the developing world.” The formal induction ceremony will take place during the next TWAS General Conference, with details to be announced in due course.
