The General Board is one of the central deliberative bodies of the European Academy of Sciences and plays a key role in the scientific governance of the Academy.

It is composed of the Heads of the EurASc Scientific Divisions together with the Members of the Presidium.

The General Board is responsible for important academic decisions, including the election of new Members of the Academy and the approval of the Blaise Pascal Medals. It also advises and supports the Presidium on matters related to the scientific activities of EurASc.
